A Step-by-Step Guide to Joining the 1% in the 100 Million Mindset

From nerdy bookwormstudying for years in dental school to head-turner, this is my journey, and the roadmap I used to level up my mindset, style, and confidence to become the man I always wanted to be (and also, to join the elusive 1% and beyond with a 100 Million Mindset). It’s a journey that I want to share with you, so you can also see real results.

For most of my life, I was the classic high performing student.  I studied a LOT to have a 3.9 GPA in college and get into dental school.. You probably know the type: many hours spent buried in books, acing exams that no one really cared about, and a social life that was full of energy, but I still was the first one to leave a party so I could go to bed early.  

As I started working, making money and focused on building my empire, I startee seeing other guys around me getting in better shape.  How are these men living better lives, while I stayed stuck in my comfort zone?

Fueled by a healthy dose of envy (let’s be honest), I decided that I had to crack this code. I spent years focusing on self-improvement, tweaking my habits, and stepping far out of my comfort zone, in order to become the man I knew I could be. Today, I barely even recognize the guy I was before, and I am living proof that any man can level up, if they make a consistent effort. The secret? It’s all about mastering these four core habits. So, let’s dive in.

RULE #1: Build a Body That Turns Heads (and Commands Respect)

The gym isn’t just a place where you go to lift weights; it’s a place where you sculpt your confidence, and forge a new version of yourself. It’s about building something that you can be proud of.

I remember random shows like Jersey Shores and seeing these guys who I felt far more intelligent, flexing abs at every moment they could.  While I wasn’t overweight, I wasn’t that confident to pull off my shirt anytime to flex. Indirectly, this taught me something important; attractive men are actually quite rare, because most guys are simply unwilling to put in the necessary work. The average guy is out of shape and tends to blend into the background. But the very moment that you start transforming your physique to have abs and start making money, you immediately leapfrog to the top 1% of men. It’s that big of a difference.

Here’s why it matters, and why you should be taking your physique seriously:

  • A Fit Body Commands Attention Before You Even Say a Word: When you have a fit body, people will automatically notice you, and they will also treat you differently. It’s about sending the right non-verbal message.
  • It Boosts Your Confidence, Which Women Find Irresistible: Confidence is incredibly attractive, and it’s also something that is built from the inside out. Having a body that you are proud of can transform your confidence, and that alone makes all of the effort worthwhile.

Where Should You Start?

  1. Work Out 7 Times a Week: Keep it simple and focus on basic compound movements, which work multiple muscle groups at once, maximizing the efficiency of your training.
  2. Hit Your Protein Goal: Aim to consume between 0.9-1.0 grams of protein per pound of body weight daily. This will help to build muscle mass, and promote fat loss.
  3. Progressive Overload: Always challenge yourself to lift heavier over time, gradually increasing the resistance, and the load that your body is carrying. This will promote long-term muscle growth and strength.

When you walk into a room with your shoulders back, the bicep vein buldging, and confidence oozing from every pore, people will notice you. You will draw their attention, and you will be treated differently. It’s a simple, yet very powerful change to make.

RULE #2: Cultivate Clear, Healthy Skin (It’s Not About Endless Products)

 

Bad skin can often feel like a curse. I know, because I also struggled with acne and uneven skin for years. But here’s the real kicker: most skincare products are actually a scam. And it seems like most of those products are specifically designed to keep you in a cycle of buying product after product, which often makes the problem even worse.

Attractive men don’t obsess over complicated, 10-step skincare routines. Instead, they usually stick to the absolute essentials, and focus on using products that are actually effective. You don’t need a huge amount of lotions and potions. These essential steps include:

  1. Cleanser (Morning and Night): This is key to removing dirt and oil buildup that can clog pores and lead to breakouts. A good cleanser is a must.
  2. Sunscreen: This will help to prevent wrinkles, and any potential sun damage in the future. Protecting your skin from the sun is vital.  For me, I try to avoid the sun hitting my face as often as possible.
  3. Hydration (as Needed): The right products can work wonders for keeping your skin moisturized and healthy. Find a product that works for you, and stick with it.

Quick Checklist:

  • Drink at least 2–3 liters of water daily.
  • Avoid greasy junk food, as this can often contribute to breakouts.
  • Observe if your skin improves in certain climates, or with certain diets.

When your face is clear and glowing, you don’t just look good – you feel good. It’s all about projecting an image of health and confidence, and great skin is a key component of that.

RULE #3: Dress to Impress, Every Single Day (Your Clothing Speaks Volumes)

Here’s the harsh truth that many men don’t want to hear: most men dress terribly. They tend to favor oversized hoodies, stained sneakers, and baggy jeans, which all make you look like you don’t really care. And, let’s face it, that’s a massive turn-off for most people. It’s like you are actively trying to avoid looking good.

In contrast, attractive men understand the sheer power of style. Your clothing communicates confidence, and also taste, before you even open your mouth. It’s a way to make a strong first impression, even before you have even uttered a single word.

Style Tips for Instant Upgrades

  1. Avoid Baggy Clothes: Tailored and tighter fits will always make you look taller and leaner. They also give you a more refined overall look.
  2. Experiment with Colors and Textures: Don’t be afraid to experiment with different colors and textures. Doing this can help you to develop your own unique style.
  3. Invest in High-Quality Essentials: Focus on purchasing key pieces, such as a sharp blazer, a pair of fitted chinos, and a good pair of casual shoes. These essential pieces can be combined in different ways to create multiple outfits.  For me, nothing I love more than a fresh pair or Jordans, skinny jeans, and a tight shirt to show off my arms and at work, my scrubs fit me just as tight as my workout clothes.  The feeling when guys glance at my arms to see the veins or girls undressing you with their eyes, will always instill more confidence to keep going.  

Here’s What You Should Do Now:

  • Purge Your Closet: Donate any graphic tees and ill-fitting clothes that you don’t like, or that don’t fit well.  You are NOT a walking billboard, stop rocking other people’s logos.  
  • Find a Style Icon: Look for someone whose wardrobe aligns with the type of vibe you are going for. Take inspiration from others.  For me, it’s the lean and 40+ year old fit version of Jeff Bezos.  
  • Add Timeless Pieces: Make sure you have some key items in your wardrobe, such as neutral-toned shirts, dark denim, and clean, classic sneakers. These versatile items can help you to build a flexible, and practical, wardrobe.

Remember, good style doesn’t mean you need designer brands, or that you have to spend a fortune. It’s all about intentionality, and making a conscious effort to dress your best.

RULE #4: Master the Art of Relaxed Confidence (It’s All About Mindset)

 

In my early days, I would often fumble conversations, overthink every single word that came out of my mouth, and panic at the thought of any form of rejection. The result? A nervous energy that often repelled people, and made me come across as insecure, and lacking in self belief.

Attractive men, on the other hand, exude a sense of calmness. They are not needy, they aren’t desperate, and they always seem to act like they have options. They are secure in themselves, and they carry themselves with purpose and direction.

The secret sauce here is to adopt an “abundance mentality”. When you stop seeing every interaction as a life-or-death situation, you start to relax, and you also start to enjoy the experience far more. Here’s how I have managed to rewire my mindset:

The 3-Step Formula

  1. Start with a Genuine Compliment: Break the ice with a genuine compliment such as “That’s a cool jacket. Where’d you get it?” Starting with a compliment shows that you are noticing them.
  2. Follow Up With Curiosity: Show your interest, and follow up with something like: “Let me guess — you’re an artist or designer, right?”
  3. Exit Gracefully: Be confident and leave them wanting more with: “Hey, I’m meeting friends, but let’s grab coffee this weekend. Here’s my number.”

Sometimes you’ll get a “no,” and that’s completely okay. The trick is to just keep moving forward, without attaching too much importance to any single outcome. Confidence comes from repetition and repeated actions. The more you try, the better you will get, and the more confident you will become.

Final Thoughts: Becoming the 1% Starts Today

The journey to becoming an attractive, high-value man isn’t about being perfect, or about being “the best”. It’s about making a consistent effort to level up in the key areas of your life.

When you master your physique, take care of your appearance, refine your style, and develop a relaxed mindset, you will begin to step into a new version of yourself. It’s a version that commands respect and attention. It’s a version that you will be proud of.
